June, July and August are summer months. It is warm or
hot. The days are long and the nights are short. There are many green trees and nice flowers in the parks and in the squares in summer. The pupils don't go to school, they have their summer holidays.

September, October and November are autumn months. It is cold. The
weather is changeable. It often rains. The day become shorter and the nights become longer. The birds prepare to fly to the South. You can see yellow, red or brown leaves everywhere. It is time for gathering mushrooms.

December, January and February are winter months. The weather is very
cold. You can see snow everywhere. The rivers and lakes freeze and children can go skating and skiing. Pupils like winter because they have a happy day – New Year's Day on the 1st of January. People buy a New Year's tree and decorate it.
