Sergey got a lot of fractures, frostbite of his legs. As a result, a bold young man lost both legs. Most people would have very depressed after such a tragedy, but this sportsmen amazed everyone.

Sergey’s determination stopped him from giving up. It took him1,5 years
to rehabilitate after those terrible injuries. He carried on training on wooden , then dynamic prosthesis.

Sergey Aleksandrov became a broze winner of Saint-Petersburg on powerlifting among
disable people in 2011.
He is also twice champion of mountain skiing in Saint-Petersburg.
In 2012 he started coaching athletics.
Sergey Aleksandrov hoped to take part at mountain skiing at the Olimpic games in Sochi in 2014, but he had’t got enough points for taking part in this competitions.
