Blues Music
Blues (MUSIC) developed their own kind of music in the early 20-th century in the Southern states of the US. They were (ORIGIN) people who lived in rural areas and their songs were about their own lives and experiences. They developed a kind of music that was (COMPLETE) theirs and totally unlike anything else. The early blues singers took songs from each other. It didn’t matter whose song it was, they would perform it in their own individual way. A (LEGEND) figure in the history of blues is Robert Johnson. Many songs of his were later played by lots of other (PERFORM), and are still played now. Blues singers played an important part in the history of popular music and people haven’t always given them the (RECOGNIZE) they deserve. Blues music was basis of rock’n’roll and so it was the starting-point for today’s most popular music.
