house and home
House or home?
House – the building where someone lives. You use house especially about a building that has more than one floor and is intended to be used by only one family.
e.g. I live in a detached house.
Home – the place where you usually live. You use home especially about a place where you have lived for a long time, when you feel comfortable living there.
e.g. Home, sweet home!
