Which activities do people do?
They collect money 3 or 4 times a year for children who are ill and come from poor families.
They have concerts at school to collect money for charity.
They are in a Green Group. They plant trees and clean their local river.

work for Help the Homeless Children on Saturdays. I learnt about this charity from my teacher and decided to make my contribution to it. It’s my job to look after the children. We play, read books or just chat. Sometimes the members of the centre raise money and clothes for the charity and organize charity concerts I like to be involved. It’s also a good life experience. Some of my friends feel uncomfortable. They do not know what to say or do. I worry sometimes too. But it doesn’t stop me. I just come and say hello.
