P: Why national parks and zoos?
S: I’m sure they are very important and help a lot to protect nature.
P: I understand why you have chosen national parks. Animals and birds as well as plants and flowers have really good habitats in them. Visitors can’t hurt there. People take care of different species of flora and fauna. But why zoos?
S: Zoos in many countries of the world are also helping to protect animals in danger. Scientists and zoo keepers take care of them and you know some endangered species are born in zoos.
P: But I don’t think it is very good. Animals born in zoos know nothing about life. Someone must teach them how to find food and keep away from danger.
S: You are right. And people teach them about life in forests. A good zoo is sometimes the only place for animals in danger.
