All of us try to keep fit. Every weekend we take our dog with us and go walking in the country. Sometimes when weather is fine, we go by bike.

people’s lives. Most people listen to the radio in the morning. They like to listen to music while they are getting ready to go to school or to work.
Young people more often listen to the radio stations which play rock or popular music.
“Virgin” radio is a radio station which plays rock music 24 hours a day.

card has to guess who sent it.
At Easter school close for two weeks. People give each other chocolate eggs
on Easter Sunday. The eggs are usually hollow and have sweets inside.
At New Year’s Day at midnight everybody joins hands and sings a special song.
In Scotland and the North of England, people go to their friends’ houses after
midnight. They try to be the first person to wish good luck to their friends in
the new year.

On the 25 December children get up early in the morning. They want to see

live on the same planet. Everybody wants to be happy and
have a good life. We should live in peace without wars.
Every people should do their best, respect and help
each other. Then the world will be happy.
The world’s a very happy place
Where every child should laugh and sing
And always have a smiling face.
The world is such a happy place
That children, whether big or small
Must always have a smiling face
And never, never sulk at all.
