We often hear about reuse and ecology. They are connected, because reuse help to solve problem connected with ecology. We are going to show, how people can make our environment cleaner.

Shopping bags

Shopping bags can be reused in the shops or as bin bags around the house. Paper bags make useful wrapping paper.

Packaging

Packaging such as foil and egg cartons can be donated to schools and nurseries, where they can be use in art and craft projects.

The wood can be used in woodcrafts for making objects such as a spice rack or a birds houses. Alternatively it could be used as firewood.

  Rechargeable batteries can be reused many times before they need throwing away, opposed to regular batteries that create unnecessary waste.

Glass, paper, plastic – they can all be recycled.
Recycling cuts down the waste going to landfill sites and also means factories need to produce fewer new bottles and packets and paper. That means there's less pollution going into the atmosphere from the factories. It also leads to fewer trees being cut down to make paper.

Reducing rubbish

The problem

Today you can see rubbish not so rarely like before. You can see it even walking through the streets. But many of us has got used to such sight and do not want to correct it. That’s wrong! We have to do something with such wave of rubbish before it will conquer the world.

The decision

We have to reduce the rubbish. At first, litter bins have to have a place for a new batch of litter everywhere. They mustn’t be full of rubbish. We can also use our old things for other targets, we can give them “the second life”. We mustn’t throw rubbish everywhere if we don’t want to turn our planet into a big dump!

The changes.

Even after such miserable efforts we will see a new world: where rubbish has been before now little plants are growing, birds are singing, the smell has changed- now you can smell the young grass, flowers. It is more beautiful than before, isn’t? So, let’s save so happy and gentle world.

I believe that in the nearest future people will follow my advice and bring the world back to life. I believe they will save it for the next generation and they will admire its beauty.

Eco – school in our town

What is eco – school?

Eco-school is a school in which children help nature, build bird houses, clean up the litter, plant trees

Location

The first eco - school was opened in Denmark. Nowadays, eco-schools are located on all continents, except for Australia

More than 11 million children joined the eco-schools, and we are not exception

Number of applicants

When May ends, the children of our eco-school give everything they have done for the whole year. For this they are issued such certificates.

Volunteers movement

In 2015 in Dubkovskya school « Friendship» was founded the volunteers movement «Odivol»

The members of «Odivol» are students from 8th to 11th Grades of Dubkovskya school «Friendship»

The members of «Odivol» take part in different activities

They collect rubbish in the parks and streets

They plant trees and clean the pond

They help to citizens of our district, because of it we can call them «The hero of Odintsovo»

The person should be kind, polite, selfless and hardworking to become the volunteer of «Odivol»
