The opposite point of view is that space projects are harmful in many ways. To begin with, they are very expensive. Many people would like to spend these money on other problems on the Earth. Besides, there may be unknown diseases, brought from other planets, that will attack humans. Last but not least, alien civilizations may turn out to be aggressive.
To sum it up it seems to me that it can be argued that space projects should be carried on but in spite of the arguments of other people I still think that people need to go to space . Yet, we have to be careful and do our best to prevent any threats.
