city of Brest in Belarus, at the confluence of the rivers Mukhavets and the Western Neman .The memorial of the Fortress is dedicated to the heroism of Soviet soldiers during the Great Patriotic War.
The memorial begins with a monumental entrance in the shape of a big star.   The  Brest Fortress is one of those places that should be visited in Belarus, and the largest tourist attraction in the city of Brest.

There is a park with old trees around the castle and a small lake.
