of English language (Education First English Proficiency Index). The third edition of index EF EPI covers 60 countries, this time it has 7 more participants: Estonia, Slovenia, Latvia, Ukraine, Sri Lanka,
Jordan and Iraq.
For deducing objective parameters in 2012, 750 000 adults have passed the test.

From our research works on a topics – “What foreign languages would students like to learn?” and “Do you need English in the future?” we learnt a percentage of respondents’ choice of foreign language and percentage of schoolchildren who need English language in their future. Our surveys showed that there are more pupils who want to learn English than those who don’t need any foreign language. Pupils know that they will use English in their work or travel.
