region there are a lot of different historical sights. But I`d like to tell you about L. N. Tolstoy's estate "Yasnaya Polyana". The great writer Leo Nikolayevich Tolstoy spent the most part of his life there. "I can`t imagine Russia and my attitude towards it without Yasnaya Polyana " he wrote.

Two white stone towers have become a symbol
of Yasnaya Polyana. The writer's grandfather put them here.
Слайд 7The lower park is connected with the writer's mother. It was
a favourite place of her walks. There was her favourite arbor tower on columns.
Слайд 8When you rise on "preshpekt" to the top line of the
estate, extensive garden sandings on the left side stretch. Gardens present a magnificent show when they are in blossom.
Слайд 9Leaving to the left "Preshpekt" it is expensive between estate gardens,
brings us to a one-storeyed white stone building with an attic - Volkonsky's house. It is built by the writer's grandfather.

a coachman, a garden house, zhitnyaya, riga.

a school for country children here. Along with this school Tolstoy organized more than ten schools in neighboring villages.

most favourite places of the writer. He described it in his novel “ Anna Karenina”
