Early in their career the band members were strongly influenced bands like The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones. Originally Bangalter and de Homem - Christo gathered a group called Darlin ', which disbanded after a short time has been revived as a duet Daft Punk, releasing a sensational album Homework in 1997.

Homework . It was a great success. The album was marked by an innovative fusion of styles of techno , house , acid house and electro , and earned the reputation as one of the albums ,influenced by dance music of the nineties. «Da Funk» entered the soundtrack to "The Holy ". The most successful single from Homework was the song «Around the World».
In my opinion It’s the best album after The Throne Legacy

to convey a playful and open attitude to the world, which was during each phase of discovery in childhood. This led to the predominance of an album themes and samples from the era of the late '70s , early '80s . «One More Time» became a major club hit. In 2001, was released a 45-minute concert video , recorded in 1997 in Birmingham, UK , called Alive 1997.
In 2003 saw the release of a full-length anime film " Interstella 5555 : 5history 5secret 5sun’s 5istem." Daft Punk acted as the film's producers . To promote the film was also released album remixes «Daft Club».
To my mind their live concerts are best of the best in the world.

Electroma is feature film duo Daft Punk about two robots trying to become human.
I was really impressed watching «Electroma». Message of the film is very deep.

March 2005 . Reviews were mixed , mostly reproached them for too repetitive motives, as well as the rush to record an album . Singles from the album became the tracks «Robot Rock», «Technologic», «Human After All», «The Prime Time of Your Life» and «The Brainwasher».
Daft Punk also released a remix album Human After All: Remixes.
As for me the most interesting composition from this album is «The Brainwasher».

Nominated album Get Lucky and Random Access Memories.
Daft Punk are known for their live performances. Important role in their work plays a visual component, interwoven with music, for example, wearing costumes of robots in public and during live performances.
