The aims of the lesson:
I. Educational
Revise already studied materials on the theme: “Health & Body Care. Sport”
II. Developing
To develop students’ skills and habits in monologue(dialogic) speech through asking(answering) questions.
To develop the students’ speaking, listening, writing habits.
III. Bringing-up
To teach the students to have a right way of life. 2) To teach the students to take care of their health.
IV. Practical
To be able to talk about health problems.

Read & remember for all your life
Do not smoke. It looks smart in old movies, & seems that everybody does it. But it just a clever form of advertising. Smoking is unhealthy.
It is unpleasant & harmful to non-smokers, too, & a serious fire risk.
Any form of addiction or excess is unhealthy, whether is tobacco, alcohol, drugs, sugary things or money.
Those who smoke are weak because if they see somebody smoking
they join them.
Only strong people don’t follow the crowd.
To be or Not to be a Vegetarian?
Here is a proverb about health: “He who has health, has hope, & he who has hope has everything”
“Healthy way of living”.“Every man is a builder of a temple called the body”
How do you understand these words? I think if a person wants to be healthy & strong he should eat right food, go in for sports, he shouldn’t smoke, drink alcohol & take drugs.
Now we are going to pass all the stations of a healthy mode of life.
Station 1. “Healthy Sleep”.
You should get lots of rest & sleep. Sleep is necessary for every person. Sleep may be short or may be long. Children should sleep for 10 hours. They should go to bed at 9 o’clock & get up at 7 o’clock in the morning. If you don’t sleep enough you are nervous & tired.
Station 2. “Healthy Food”
To keep fit you should eat a lot of fruit & vegetables. “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”Eating carrots is good for your eyes. Brown bread & cereal is good for your health.Fish is good for your brain. Don’t eat too much sweets. It is bad for your teeth. Don’t drink a lot of coffee. Coffee stops you from sleeping. Drink natural juices & mineral water.
Station 3. “No taking Drugs”.
To b healthy you shouldn’t take any drugs. What do you think about drugs? I think it is harmful to take drugs. The most terrible thing happens when a teenager becomes a drug addict- a person who has a habit to take drugs & becomes dependent on the drug.
Station 4. “No drinking Alcohol”
What do you think about alcohol? If you drink it is bad for you. I think you shouldn’t drink alcohol because it also may damage the young person’s developing body.
Station 5. “No Smoking”
Smoking is harmful for your health. What do you think about smoking? Is it good or bad for you & do you smoke? If you smoke you will be weak & often ill.
Station 6. “Sport”
Sport is very important for your health too. You should go in for sports. It may be jumping, running, or just sport games. Don’t forget to do exercises every morning.
