third largest in the United Kingdom. Before 1750 (seventeen fifty) Glasgow was a small town. It had a cathedral and a university but it was not a rich town.

Scotland and Aberdeen is the biggest oil centre in Great Britain.

Kilts - traditional Scottish woolen cloth costume with a tartan or plaid pattern. This is a skirt that men wear.
Bagpipers - people who play the bagpipes, a traditional Scottish instrument .

They are called Loki. The most famous one is Loch Ness. It's quite large and deep, many believe that in it dwells the great monster. Its name is «Nessie», is described as a long black or a green dinosaur, however, for others it's just fiction.

There are a lot of rivers. The sea cuts the mountains into parts.
