to America. Once they finally reached America, they got off the boat at a place called Plymouth Rock.
The voyage on the Atlantic Ocean was very dangerous.
In December 1620, they arrived in America, in what is today Cape Cod, Massachusetts. These original colonists are known as the Pilgrims or Pilgrim Fathers.
