21, 1816 in Northern England.
Her family was quite poor.
She was the third daughter of clergyman Patrick Bronte
Charlotte and three of her sisters attended
Cowan Bridge boarding school.
Two of Charlotte Bronte's sisters, Maria and Elizabeth,
died due to poor conditions at the school.
Later Charlotte Bronte described the school
in her novel “Jane Eyre”,
so we can say that the novel is partly autobiographical.
After school she became a teacher at school for girls.
