Two possible solutions will be presented, but neither is perfect
You must choose one solution and support it

Suggestion one: could do ind. Study with a prof. to replace one class (suggestion) → would be enjoyable, but might not be motivated to do it on time (response)
Suggestion two: take one class at a dif. university (suggestion) → time consuming and expensive to drive there and back

My preference: complete the independent study
Reason one: good way to form a relationship with prof. Meeting one on one would bring them close together. Very beneficial after graduation and motivational.
Reason two: wasting money on gas is not necessary if can solve problem on campus. University life v. expensive, and better to spend on books, seminars and clubs.
