The young officer knew

that he had to do something. Max ran towards the place where the voice was coming from. When he reached a dark isolated corner of the park he saw two youngsters wearing shabby (1) jeans and T-shirts attack a woman violently (2). He understood they were trying to rob (3) her. One of the criminals was holding the woman while the other was trying to take the woman's handbag away. Next moment Max knocked down one of them, kicked (4) the other and in a few minutes both gangster were tied to a big tree. He introduced himself as a policeman and told them they were arrested. They didn't protest and stood paralyzed. The robbers had not expected to be caught during the mugging (5). When Max was through with the burglars he saw the woman lying on the ground breathless, she was wounded (6). Richard rang up a police team and an ambulance. Probably one of them had cut the woman with a knife into a stomach (7) …
