Слайд 3The relevance of the chosen theme "Rachmaninov in Crimea" is due

to the fact that so many of my contemporaries do not know the Great Musical Classics of our great and talented Russia, and even more they do not know that very many of them made a great contribution to the development of Crimea , Crimean culture, education of the Crimeans, including musical one. One of the greatest musicians is S.V. Rakhmaninov. I'm a pupil of gymnasium 9 and I'm studying at the musical school No. 1 in Simferopol, in the very first musical school in Crimea, which was opened by S.V. Rachmaninov at the beginning of the last century. My musical school bears his name. Therefore, for me, the topic of S.V. Rachmaninov in Crimea turned out to be very close.

the southern coast of Crimea with a group of pupils of the Professor of the Moscow Conservatory, Nikolay Zverev. They usually stayed at professor’s friends in the estate of the Tokmakovs in Miskhor.
The arrival of young Rachmaninov in 1887 was remarkable because exactly in Crimea he began to compose music.

In 1901, Rachmaninov arrived in the Crimea as a very

famous man. His concerts took place successfully in London. In St. Petersburg "Aleko" was put. He arrived in Yalta this time on invitation of his admirer Alexandra Andreevna Lieven. Again, Yalta, mountains, sea, clean healing air inspired Rachmaninov's writing. Within six months after the trip to Crimea he had already written his masterpiece Second Big Concert.

Conclusion.

Слайд 21After studying the biography of Rachmaninov, I have come to the

conclusion that:

Great happiness for a man is when he can afford to be where his heart and his soul are. To create where the inspiration is. To live at home.
Despite the fact that America applauded Rachmaninov , he was homesick. I would not like to leave my homeland.
Crimean nature is healing. Not for nothing it is written in some articles that the week spent on the southern coast of Crimea has the same impact on health as you stay a month at the European resorts.
In the future I would like to play Rachmaninov’s music in Yalta city garden on 5th September. Now, the old summer theatre is the concert hall of the Jubilee.
