Слайд 3The Pilgrims had difficulties in the new area. The Indians taught
them to grow vegetables, hunt, build houses.
Слайд 4When after some years the Pilgrims got their first harvest they
decided to have a big feast to thank God for the food. The Indians were invited. The day was called Thanksgiving Day.
Слайд 5Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the last Thursday in November. There
are parades on the streets in the USA.
Слайд 6The families get together. First the family say prayers for all
they have. Then they eat special food: roast turkey, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, beans, corn.
