Celtic tribes named Picts, Scotti and Caledonians) began to push themselves into the fertile southern plains of the island where people called by the Romans “Britons” lived. At that time, the Germanic tribes of Europe (the Jutes, Saxons, and Angles) started to invade the island as a result of Huns’ invasion to Europe.
