English poet, playwright,

and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist.
Shakespeare was born and brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.
At the age of 18, he married Anne Hathaway
 Globe Theatre, the first playhouse built by actors for actors, on the south bank of the Thames at Southwark
His famous works:  Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, and Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet.

Shakespeare died on 23 April 1616, at the age of 52
