The simplest type

of symmetry. If the object or a figure can be divided by the plane into two halves so that these halves become equal it is a mirror symmetry. The example of such a symmetry is a human body, bodies of animals and many others.
Mirror symmetry helps to create the impression of steadiness and rest as it makes both halves of the image equivalent for our eyes.
