from Novgorod. It is an old Russian town between Moscow and S.Petersburg. It lives on both sides of the river Volkov. Novgorod was founded in 859. It is one the most ancient towns of Russia. There are lots of places to visit in Novgorod: museums, art galleries, theatres. The town is famous for the Kremlin, in old times it was called the Detinets and was built on two hills – the north and the south hill. There are many old beautiful churches, monasteries, old buildings and others in our town. The most important sight of the Novgorod Kremlin is St. Sophia Cathedral. In the centre of the Kremlin square stand the monument to Russia”s Millenary. It is the Tourist’s center.

Pupils from six to seventeen years old study in our school. T he school has 3 floors, 54 classrooms, a large, light and beautiful hall, a canteen, a gym, and cloak – room. Our classrooms are furnished very well. In front of the blackboard there are desks and chairs. There are curtains on the windows. The hall is a place where we hold meetings and concerts. There are rows of armchairs, sound and musical equipment. The gym is large, light and comfortable. It is very convenient to hold PE lessons here. There are exercise bikes, mutiny's, benches and other equipment. In the school we have a library, a computer lab, the medical room, the teachers room. We try to keep our beautiful school clean and tidy.
