Los Angeles - commonly known as the "City of Angels", often uses the abbreviation L.A. Los Angeles - the 2nd city in the US by the number of residents after New York. The population is more than 4 million. The population of the Greater Los Angeles, which extends for almost 500 square miles, exceeds 17.7 million people.

Los Angeles is a city of worldwide proportions. The strongest economy is based on international trade, entertainment, manufacturing and tourism. In addition, an important role belongs to the financial and telecommunications sector of the economy, medicine, transport and jurisprudence. Port of Los Angeles is the 5th in the world in terms of congestion, and the economy is 3rd in the US and 8th in the world.

However, it is obvious that Hollywood and the entertainment industry have brought world fame to the city. In addition to Hollywood, the global filmmaking center, Los Angeles has other media business. The most important of which: the production of television product, computer games and sound recording. All this allows us to reasonably call Los Angeles "the world capital of entertainment."
