here. I don’t know any residents of Nizhny Novgorod, who wouldn't be proud of their city. Nizhny Novgorod is the biggest cultural and historical centre of Volga Federal district.

The metropolis of two million people is also called the capital of Volga region.

Volga and Oka. The place, where rivers are meeting called “Strelka”. If you look at "Strelka " from the Kremlin, you can see the most beautiful views. Everyone has to see this. Then you understand why in 1221 Yuri Vsevolodovich chose this place for the city.

part of the city and the unique Kremlin are saved. The Kremlin was built by Italian project as the Kremlin in Moscow. From the Kremlin’s gates Kuzma Minin, a merchant, led a militia to liberate Moscow and Fatherland. I love visiting historical part of the city with my family.

The walls and towers of the Kremlin are open to all comers in good weather. The height of the towers and walls is fantastic, as in the Moscow Kremlin. Walking in the Kremlin is a favourite pastime of residents of Nizhny Novgorod at weekends and holidays. Our Kremlin is one of the most beautiful Kremlins in Russia.

When I walk there and look at the buildings, I think about 18-19 centuries. Every building is a monument of history and culture.

There’s no transport, only tourists.

The other famous people are B. A. Mokrousov, a composer, E. Evstigneev, an actor, V. Konovalenko, a hockey goalkeeper, I.Kulibin, a creator.

theatres for viewers of different ages. The first city theatre in Nizhny Novgorod was founded in 1798. It was a drama theatre. In 19-20 centuries the life of the theatres in Nizhny Novgorod was rich and had a lot of traditions. Recently I went to the Theatre of young spectator with my classmates and our teacher. It was great! My younger sister likes to go the Puppet theatre.

local lore is situated on the waterfront in a luxury manor house Rukavishnikov. There is a fantastic Art museum at Kremlin’s area. You can also visit Gorky museum, Kashirin’s house, Dobrolubov museum, which is the only one in Russia, Sakharov museum-flat, Russian photo museum, Railways history museum, Auto museum and others.

Novgorod. Each of them has its own unique history, its features, its grandeur and beauty. I especially like Christmas Church. It’s very beautiful and has an interesting history. I admire Alexandro-Nevskiy Cathedral as well.

It is not a coincidence, because the past, present and future events are closely connected. If you begin to write about industry you realize that you can’t mention the development of war industry in 1941-1945 years in Gorky. While thinking about V. Chkalov you imagine the monument near the Kremlin wall, and the famous staircase built on the Volga river slope in the form of a dead loop.

I’m a patriot of my city, and therefore, no matter how long I talked about my native city, I will always feel like I forgot something and not everything is mentioned.
