In January, we visited the Moscow Kremlin Museums. They hosted a

fascinating collection of English Art. The exhibition was called “The Golden Age of the English Court: From Henry VIII to Charles I”. It was organized by the Kremlin Museums and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The masterpieces were lent by the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Royal Collection, National Portrait Gallery of London.

In the XVI- XVII th century the royal court became the center of power and culture. The English court life developed together with the political ideas of the centuries.
