Tasks of the projects:
- using literature and illustrative material about Scotland to describe of the general characteristics of this country in English, in particular: its geographical position, territory, population, national symbols, the largest cities, traditions and outstanding people;
- to learn vocabulary and prepare the English presentation of the project;
- to develop the ability to engage in monologue and dialogue speech;
- to develop the ability to analyze, summarize, draw conclusions, justify one’s opinions;
- to instill interest in and respect for the culture and traditions of the learning language;
- to increase the motivation to learn English.
