This what we’re going to speak at our lesson.

It is wonderful because it is compact.
It is convenient to bring with you. It’s cheaper than paper books. With the support of internet connection you can download a lot of books for free. It’s portable and you can carry your library to everywhere. If we use e-books (electronic textbooks)at lessons , students won’t carry heavy rucksacks every day.

use it to make calls, listen to music, play games. I need it to know the date, to wake up from an alarm in the morning and find my way in the dark.

I cannot even imagine it without music. That’s why my iPod is always with me. I use it to listen to music while I’m training or relaxing. It’s great for workouts at the gym or while running. Moreover I listen to my iPod at bed time. I can’t sleep and wake up without it.

And do you know what else?
You can (make your own movie) with your phone and you can (record sounds).
And you can even create your own ringtones!

name is Tom Clark and I am glad to see you at our talk show “Let them talk ”. We have gathered here today to discuss a very important problem : Cell Phones at School: Should They Be Allowed or Banned?
Let’s listen to different viewpoints about this topic and make a decision.

Phones distract students from learning.
They can cheat in tests and exams.
They use them to write or send text messages when I explain new material.
They make phone calls , listen to music and play games during lessons!!!
They disrespect their teachers.
No cell phones at school!!!

you. I have got a son. He is a pupil.
And I feel worried about him all the time.
But I want my child to be independent, to be able to walk home from school and play at the playground without me. Cell phones are a great way to stay in touch anytime, anywhere. I can call my child to find out where he is. And in case of an emergency my son can use it to contact me.
Phones are very important at schools!!! I believe the children should at least be allowed to use their cell-phones during break!!!

play some sports or chat with friends during break than to have them use their phones all break long. Today’s children use their phones day and night by not going outside and become antisocial. I’m against cell phones.
But on the other hand I understand parents. They are worried about their children safety. They are afraid that something bad may happen to the son or daughter.

everywhere I go. It’s my closest friend. I take a selfie , download songs, watch movies, play games on my phone. I use it to talk to my friends and parents. My phone is the most important thing in my life. I stand for mobile phones in school.

I’d like to share with you some information.
Cell phones work by using radio waves. This radiation is dangerous for children’s brains and it harms their health . Kids should spend less time on the phone! Phones disrupt children’s sleep. But you know sleep is important for growing kids! I am for banning cell phones at school!

Nowadays children are addicted to phones. They forget about their responsibilities and become dependent on it.
Besides cell phones can be a tool of bulling! Bullying is a big problem that affects lots of kids. It can cause mental and emotional health problems. Monitor your child’s phone and ask him questions:” Have you got weird texts? Any calls that made you uncomfortable?” Teach your child not to answer calls and texts from people they don’t know! Defend your children!!!
