After graduating from the University he became a teacher of a literature and history at Penza Institute of the Nobility. 6. Later he worked in gymnasium for boys, he loved children and taught them to love their Motherland, respect every nation, traditions and culture. 7. As a scientist he understood the danger of atomic wars and fought against them. 8. He also fought for human rights, progress and peace all over the world. 9. Later he was an organizer and the headmaster of the teachers’ training seminary, a researcher of local history and the first Lermontov’s biographer. 10. In 1975 A. Sakharov won the Nobel Peace Prize. 11. In 1901 he became the chairman of the Province Archives Commission and received the rank of a Councilor of State.
