Romans came to Britain. They founded a city and called it Londiniym.

was the first bridge over the Thames. A wooden bridge, called London Bridge, existed from Roman times unit the XII century.

Bridge was built on stone arches resting on piers. The old stone bridge became London’s most famous landmark and was the only bridge over the Thames in London.
