Слайд 6 Most often in the villages Tatar family lived in
the house in which there was one room: a "dүrt pochmakly өy" - "a house with four corners" (or four walls).
Tatars have loved and love to decorate their homes. Therefore, even the simple huts often look elegant and fun. Exterior walls are usually painted in bright green, blue, yellow, and delicate jewelry made of wood - in white, light blue, light yellow. The tradition of painting a house was born in the days of Bulgar.
Tatar families were usually crowded grandmother, grandfather, father, mother, and 4 - 5 or more children. Therefore, if there was a possibility, the Tatars were building big houses. It's like two huts, and in the middle passage. In this house you can already have a room separate from the kitchen.
Слайд 8Inside the room, we see a great bench - seke, bunk.
It could be used as a desk and a bed. Above the bed hangs a cradle where the nurse shakes her baby. And when the children were growing up, they played seke.
In the old days to observe cleanliness was very difficult - in fact in the house and doing crafts: weaving shoes, make wooden spoons and other necessary things. During cold weather the people even took the lambs and calves inside. But still wanted to ensure that there was clean and beautiful.
