 trousers – брюки tights – колготки
jeans - джинсы stockings - носки
shorts - шорты, трусы glasses - очки
pyjamas - пижама(со штанишками) spectacles - очки

Эти существительные всегда стоят во множественном числе. Мы можем их заменить местоимением they.

Where are my glasses? ( glasses = they are)

Мы также можем использовать a pair of ...с этими словами: в данном случае глагол будет согласовываться со словом pair.
Those are new pyjamas. ( pyjamas = they are)
This is a new pair of jeans. ( a new pair of jeans = it is)
 

эти употребляются для указания
на предметы или лица, близкие к говорящему по месту и времени
( here - здесь).
Местоимения that– то, those- те употребляются для указания на
предметы или лица, более отдаленные от говорящего по месту и времени
( there- там).
