Seventh, who ascended to the throne after Queen Victoria and ruled for several decades. The buildings of this period carry the traits of baroque, neo-classical and Georgian architecture. They are designed in brighter colors and characterized by the simplicity of the layout as well as the modest ornamental load. The most notable Edwardian buildings in London are The Admiralty Arch, The Criminal Court "Old Bailey", County Hall on the South Bank of the Thames and the "Electric Cinema" in Notting Hill.
