Standards are divided into 4 groups - the speed, strength, agility and endurance.

Other countries.
Various sports awards exist in other countries. For example, in British, Australian and New Zealand universities give out nice clothes with stripes, attesting to the sports achievements (blue blazers).

«Be ready for Labor and Defense!»? The answer is individual for everyone. Organizers of this program are absolutely sure that GTO will help young people to cultivate the most important character traits and of course patriotism. Mechanism accumulated by decades is still useful in modern world and very soon it will initiate progress in the developing Russian sport.

of 10th and 11th forms in our school. There were two purposes of this inquiry. First is to know if teenagers are interested in sports and standards of GTO; second is to find out their level in the sport exercises.

Presence of the students with a sport category, particularly Masters of the sports and Candidates Master of Sports, is very meritorious. It shows that students can combine studies and sport.
