The second branch of the USA government
is the President and his helpers. They carry out the laws that the Congress makes. The President signs bills and then they become a law. The Vice President and members of the Cabinet help him to make decisions. The US President is Commander in Chief of the country s armed force.
According to the USA Constitution a person who wants to become President must be born in the USA, must be at least 35 years old, must lived in the USA at least fourteen year before becoming President. The President’s term is 4 years and one can be President for one or two terms, but not longer. Americans vote for the President in November of every leap year.
According to the Constitution of the Russian Federation a person who wants to become President must be born in Russia, must be at least 35 years old, must lived in Russia at least ten year before becoming President. The President’s term is 4 years and one can be President for one or two terms, but not longer. Russians vote for the President in March every 6 years. The last elections took place in 2008.
