Height of a ceiling has to be not less than 7 meters, and on professional platforms ceilings lift on height of 12 meters and above. However now basketball matches are played only on the covered areas.

The central area represents a circle (radius of 1,80 m) and is located exactly in the center of the basketball field.
Three-point lines represent the semicircles with a radius of 6,75 m which are carried out before crossing with parallel (front) lines.
Lines of a penalty shot. The line of a penalty shot is put 3,60 m long parallel to each front line so that its far-away country was located at distance of 5,80 meters from an inner edge of the front line, and its middle was on the imagined line connecting the middle of both front lines.
