г. поселившимися здесь казаками. Своё название селение приобрело от фамилии П.С.Уварова, местного охотника и пчеловода.

Uvarovo is the town in Tambov region. It is situated on the right bank of the river Raven. It was founded in 1699 by cossacks , who were settled here. The settlement was called by name of Uvarov. He was a native hunter and beekeeper.

В 1840 году была построена каменная церковь, начали проводиться ярмарки. Во второй половине 19-го века Уварово являлось крупным центром хлеботорговли.

In 1702 the wooden church was built here. In 1840 the stone church was built , it began to hold fairs here. In the second half of the 19th century Uvarovo was a large centre of bread-trade.

1960 году Уварово было преобразовано в рабочий посёлок, а уже в 1966 году стал городом.

The railway of Oblovka was built in 1893 near from Uvarovo. In 1960 Uvarovo became a working settlement. And in 1966 it became a town.

Одно из них - деревня Ивановка. Здесь, в бывшем имении Сатиных расположен дом-музей С.В.Рахманинова, где с 1890 по 1917 годы жил и работал великий музыкант. Ежегодно здесь проводятся музыкальные фестивали, посвященные Рахманинову.

Uvarovo has its sights and memorable places. The most famous is the village of Ivanovka. It was former homestead of Satins. There is located S. V. Rachmaninov’s museum. The great musician lived and worked from 1890 to 1917 there. Every year music festivals are taken place here. This festivals are dedicated him.

The key place of the town is the Cadets Corps of a name of St. George. The education of students of cadets classes differ model approach to bringing up real patriots of Motherland.

Часто встречаются с ветеранами локальных войн.

The cadets study subjects of military training. They take part in patriotic actions. They often meet with veterans of local wars.

The main event of the year is All-Russian festival of cadets corps “Symphony of Cadets”. It collects the best pupils of military schools from all over the country.

На открытии сквера гости могли увидеть чайные ряды. Они пили чай с вишнёвым вареньем, и их угощали пирогами с вишней.

In 2017 the Cherry Square was opened. The cherry trees were planted here. At opening of the square guests could see many rows with tea and sweets. They drank tea with cherry jam and they were treated with cherry pies.

связана с брендированием города Уварово как "вишнёвой столицы" региона и проведением фестиваля "Вишнёвый сад". В элементах костюма чайной бабы также присутствует символ города – вишня.

The tea-woman was introduced for the first time at the Pokrovskaya Fair. The idea of its creation is connected with the brand of the town of Uvarovo as the ,,cherry capital” of the region and the festival ,,Cherry Orchard’’. In the elements of the costume of a tea-woman there is also a symbol of the town - cherry.

рекорд. Город Уварово установил самую большую чайную бабу России с внушительными параметрами. Высота конструкции составила 4,2 метра, диаметр юбки - 4,5 метра.
Внутри чайной бабы расположилась полевая кухня, в которой приготовили 280 литров чая. Ароматным напитком с вишнёвым вареньем угостили 1500 гостей - посетителей ярмарки. В год 80-летия Тамбовской области уваровцы заготовили 80 литров вишневого варенья.

A new Russian record was set at the Pokrovskaya Fair this year in Tambov. The town of Uvarovo has installed the largest tea-woman in Russia with impressive parameters. The height of the structure was 4,2 meters, the diameters of skirt was 4,5 meters.
Inside the tea-woman there is a field kitchen. There has been cooked 280 liters of tea. 1500 guests have tasted a fragrant drink with cherry jam. In the year of 80th anniversary of Tambov region the citizens’ of Uvarovo produced 80 liters of cherry jam.

от главного символа города Уварово – вишни. На фестивале выступили самые яркие творческие коллективы города. Всех гостей ждали уроки по приготовлению вишневого варенья и всевозможных вишневых блюд. Гостей развлекали скоморохи и зазывалы, а все желающие могли посетить торговую ярмарку и приобрести вкусные вишневые заготовки.

The festival of “Cherry Orchard” was taken place on the 14th of July 2017. The name of festival comes from main symbol of the town of Uvarovo - cherry. At the festival took part the most bright collectives of our town. The lessons of preparing of cherry jam and different cherry dishes were waited for guests. Buffoons and barkers cheered-up the guests. Many people could visit fair trade and buy tasty cherry dishes.

One of the most main elements of renewed square is art-object “I love Uvarovo”. It is situated near from the entrance in to the square. Many lovers of making photography gather here. The square is decorated with benches.
