man to carry out the ceremony. This man slaughts geese, telling the corresponding prayer. Then women go to the river with yokes, hanging geese on. They wash the poultry and on the way back strew the road with feather vertebrae.

England. They came to America for religious freedom. The name of the ship was the «Mayflower». In 1621 there was a great harvest. They were thankful and decided to celebrate this date.

holds «nikakh». This family holiday must the only one in every person's life.

American engagement is more personal event. As
a rule, parents don’t create obstacles to their children’s choice. The couple usually celebrates this holiday with many friends.
