We would like to tell you about Christmas in Great Britain.
The 25th of December is Christmas Day. It’s a happy holiday for
a lot of people. Some weeks before Christmas English people are
busy. They send Greetings cards to their relatives and friends.
People buy a Christmas tree and decorate it with toys, coloured
balls and lights. When children go to bed, they put their stockings
near their beds. At night Father Christmas comes. He puts the
presents into the children’s stockings. The traditional Christmas
dinner is turkey with green vegetables and Christmas pudding.
