It was a fortress, a royal palace and a prison. Now it’s a museum.

The Tower is full of ravens. There is a legend which says that the Tower and Britain will fall if the ravens leave.
Special guards, Beefeaters, in red and black uniforms guard the Tower. They take care of the ravens.

Buckingham Palace has been the official London residence of Britain's
monarchy since 1837.
Foot Guards guard the Palace. They wear red jackets and tall, furry hats called bearskins.
The Changing of the Guard is the colourful ceremony that takes place in front of Buckingham Palace at 11 o’clock every day.
